Photoshop for Music Recording??!!

Posted in Science and Tech 科学・技術 with tags , , , , , on April 19, 2008 by Mervin

I received this link from a friend of mine, Jian Yang.

It’s truly amazing to see the way music technology evolves and with this new music software known as Melodyne – Direct Note Access,  musician can make the impossible possible!!

” Direct Note Access individually manipulates groups of musical notes (chords), giving recording engineers the ability to completely and undetectably create pitch-perfect performances, even from groups of tone-deaf musicians playing together.”

Amazing isn’t??  Lovely music software.

Quote of the day – Reason of Success

“I’ve missed over 9,000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost
300 games. 26 times I’ve been trusted to take the game-winning
shot… and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in
my life. And that is why I succeed.”

A UNESCO World Heritage Site is a specific site (such as a forest, mountain range, lake, desert, building, complex, or city) that has been nominated–and confirmed–for inclusion on the list maintained by the international World Heritage Programme administered by the UNESCO World Heritage Committee.

The World Heritage List includes 851 properties forming part of the cultural and natural heritage which the World Heritage Committee considers as having outstanding universal value.

These include 660 cultural , 166 natural and 25 mixed properties in 141 States Parties. As of November 2007, 185 States Parties have ratified the World Heritage Convention. (Source: Official world heritage website)
