This morning came a group of talented musician known as the Dagaya. They are well established Taiko Club mainly performing in Aichi prefecture as well as Gifu prefecture. Mainly they use the traditional instruments such as Nagadou-daiko (長胴太鼓), Shime-daiko (締め太鼓), Shinobue (篠笛), Tsugaru-jamisen (津軽三味線), Shakuhachi (尺八) and so on. The most recent tour to the US has gained them huge popularity and this year Penangites will have the opportunity to see them LIVE!
