博多どんたく祭り or Dontaku festival is one of the 3 biggest festival in Japan.
It’s a must-not-missed event if you are in town in early May.
Fortunately, me and Kae managed to go on Sunday. The place was overwealmed with people from all over Japan. Every years Dontaku Festival attracts more than 2 million crowd. Unbelievable @.@

Indoor performances are held in various places
for more photos read on.
Last Saturday we went to ‘Nagasaki Tall Ships Festival’ in Nagasaki Port. I wonder how tall must the ship be to be categorised as ’Tall Ships’ haha…
Anyway, Sailing vessals from Japan and abroad gathered in Nagasaki Port for this Spring festival and giving Nagasaki Port a rather unique port scenery.
I had a great evening that day although the weather was freaking cold. The fireworks were great and so i decided to go again on Sunday night equipped with full gear for the fireworks shots!

Well this is it. I finished editing this photo album especially for mom. She took a long vacation and travelled to Japan since 13 March till 7 April. We had a fabulous time together and it was SUPERB!
Thank you mom!! I Love you!!

A UNESCO World Heritage Site is a specific site (such as a forest, mountain range, lake, desert, building, complex, or city) that has been nominated–and confirmed–for inclusion on the list maintained by the international World Heritage Programme administered by the UNESCO World Heritage Committee.
The World Heritage List includes 851 properties forming part of the cultural and natural heritage which the World Heritage Committee considers as having outstanding universal value.
These include 660 cultural , 166 natural and 25 mixed properties in 141 States Parties. As of November 2007, 185 States Parties have ratified the World Heritage Convention. (Source: Official world heritage website)

Fuyoh! I’m having a long Spring holiday known as ’春休み’ until 7th of April.
This is the holiday that i’ve been waited for so long.
My mom might come to Nagasaki this coming March.
I’m gonna make a vacation plan that is unforgettable for mom and Kae in a reasonable price. Ready??!!!
Hell ya i’m ready to rock and roll~
These few days, i did some initial planning with a group of travel mate consisting Kae, Amy, Shu Kui and his friend.
With JR’s ‘青春18切符‘ or also known as seishun 18 which only cost ¥11500, we are going to travel from Nagasaki up to Nagoya!
Our initial trip as below
Nagasaki - Miyajima - Hiroshima - Himeji - Kobe - Osaka - Nagoya - Kyoto.
We will be staying in Osaka hostels (青年旅館)to minimise the cost so that we can travel more and buy more!! bwahahaha!! ^^
Stay tune~~
Sayang, Happy Valentine’s Day.
It’s the best trip that we had so for isn’t it?
We went to a place called Huis Ten Bosch. Sound Dutchy?
It is a theme park in Nagasaki Prefecture that recreates Holland by displaying real size copies of old Dutch buildings. The name Huis Ten Bosch literally translates into English as “House in the Forest”.
